The role

You will be hired to start and lead a new team within Innovative Group for EMEA. Your job is to help local business owners grow, especially owner-led businesses, and also support some small early-stage startups. You will be doing real work, not following someone else's plan.

Your day-to-day

  • Find and work with local business owners across EMEA, starting in markets where IG already has traction.
  • Run full projects end-to-end: review current online presence, decide the best go-to-market plan, launch and improve marketing campaigns, and report results.
  • Help them grow with local SEO and Google Business Profile, paid ads (search and social), email and SMS, reviews and reputation systems, landing pages, and some light creative.
  • Create repeatable playbooks for key business types so the work can scale without losing quality.
  • Work closely with other IG teams (marketing, technology, AI, design) to deliver the right solutions.

Build the practice like your own business

  • Focus on pipeline, client retention, and results.
  • Help build the team — hire, train, set culture and processes.
  • Propose and test new offers, pricing, and packages.
  • Help decide which countries, languages, and business categories to prioritise next.

What success looks like

First 90 days: learn the company's way of working, understand the ecosystem, shadow then co-lead real client work, and contribute to at least one vertical playbook.

First 6 to 12 months: build a growing set of clients across EMEA, run campaigns tied to real business metrics, launch at least one new offer or market or vertical focus, and help bring on more teammates.

What we are looking for

Required

  • Based in EMEA.
  • Comfortable working in English across different time zones and cultures.
  • Entrepreneurial — you think about pipeline and outcomes, not just tasks.
  • You like working with local business owners and care about their success.
  • Comfortable with learning as you go, including making early mistakes and adjusting.
  • You want to build a team, not just build a resume.
  • Generalist — strategy, copy, marketing, analytics, and direct client work.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty; you prefer shipping and improving quickly.
  • You work in an AI-native way, using AI tools to work faster and think better.

Desirable

  • Experience with local business — agency, in-house, freelance, or running your own.
  • Another language spoken in EMEA.
  • Experience in automotive aftermarket/dealers, gaming/esports, or hospitality.
  • Working knowledge of local SEO, Google Business Profile, Meta/Google Ads, and CRM/email tools.
